never. ending.

i swear life is a spoof.

A never-ending cycle of love, and violence across many "sub-tiers", and nobody is exempt from the chaos.

well...if you shift your perspective and welcome the changes with open arms, it wouldn't be presented as "chaos" but more as shifts that require flexibility. chapters from a new writer, like we're playing God's game of telephone. maybe even blessings hidden under inconveniences and heartbreak.

perspective is never-ending.

and exhausting at times.

but necessary for survival, growth, and obtaining the wisdom necessary to keep your legacy alive and even reach enlightenment. which is more important, and can you have both?

it's been months since i've typed words to an electronic document, but less than to touch pen to paper. i've journaled about life's never-ending flaming hoops and wrinkles in the metaphorical fabric, and i won't say it's brought peace. it's brought reality. the reality of adaptation...and perspective. both are skill sets that grow stronger, as you fortify the ability to channel swift mindsets involving them. that's what brings peace. because you no longer struggle with the changes. you pivot your sail and sail on. you take a day to cry, walk for miles and miles, and have ice cream for dinner...you should do that anyways from time to time (yes i know it's poison, mmmmmm)...and then the next day begin your new game plan. include failure in the game plan as failure means progression not regression. don't have high expectations. because when they get crushed, so does your soul. happiness requires low expectations. that's why, years ago, Denmark was one of the happiest countries in the world. through a documentary i watched back in school, many citizens said as a culture, they have low expectations. can't take life that seriously...we don't have to mention the extras such as receiving six months of paid maternal and paternal leave - but yea! i would be pretty happy, too.

i won't lie, i've struggled with the mindset, but when it works...well, things actually hurt less. disappointments hurt less. heartbreak... hurts less, but then comes up in stages of "WHAT THEE FUCK!!!", then goes back to hurting less. love and violence are juggling acts when it comes to hurt and healing. at least that is what i feel so far. and those two elements are the most consistent themes in life and, in my opinion, as kind of mentioned earlier...are what life surrounds itself with.

what do we read most about every day? it's never-ending.

so, it's a challenge, but possible to shift your perspective. if you can't beat 'em, join em. don't worry, though. i believe in agency and options. you're grown. so, if you also don't want to join 'em, walk the fuck out the door and hold your head up high. this universe is yours. your God and your spirits are here for you and only you. and, if that's enough to "trust the process", you're one step closer to welcoming the shifts and new chapters in your life. embracing them even, and holding them close for however long or short that you need to. then let them go like a deep exhale. because remember, you'll need to prepare for the next, as you don't know when it'll present itself, like a cat lying out on the damn floor while you're carrying groceries in the house. or a speed bump you didn't see while zooming, and the front of your bumper scraped the ground and bounced the car back. or when you pull your wired headphones out of your purse, and they're beyond a tangled mess. or...you just spilled some shit on your shirt. damn. a white shirt at that. could be worse...could be white pants and you started bleeding... besides, who wears white pants anymore?

let them go like a deep exhale, and bob and weave in the water.

because remember, the shit never. ends.
